Heather Renee Ashley, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Heather was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and daughter. She had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need. Heather never met a stranger. She had a green thumb that grew the most beautiful gardens and she was an avid animal lover. Heather was very spiritual. She loved to listen to music and enjoyed every genre. Heather will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her and will never be forgotten.
She was born on January 11, 1982 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles Perkins and Angela Ashley. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Allen Perkin; grandfather, Norman Ashley; grandmother, Joyce Ashley; and uncle, Michael Ashley.
Heather is survived by her loving family, mother, Angela (Eric) Kirchhubel; daughter, Jasmine Cecil; son, Isaiah Kai Ashley; sisters, Christina (David Burgess) Ashley, Tammie Perkins; nieces and nephews, Shelby Ashley, Alex Ashley-Valdez, Daniella Burgess, Zoemauria Burgess, Renacka Burgess, Destiny Burgess, Alissia Burgess, Sophia Burgess; aunt, Pamela (Robert) Ernst; cousins, Jennifer Ernst, Deborah Ernst, Andrew Ashley and Eric Ashley; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, extended friends and family to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family requests that contributions in Heather’s memory be made to the National Alliance for Mental Health or Friends of Metro Animal Services.
