Heather Irene Burgin, 24, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Norton Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 13, 2000, in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of Henry and Tammy Burgin.
Heather was a dedicated and hardworking individual, having worked at Hitachi Cable in New Albany, Indiana. Her strong work ethic and commitment to her job were well-recognized by all who knew her.
A loving daughter and sister, Heather had a deep love for her family. She also had a passion for sports and was an active participant in the Special Olympics, where she enjoyed both the competition and the camaraderie. Heather found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and one of her greatest joys was her beloved pet cat, Paris Irene Burgin, affectionately known as "Mamas." She shared a special bond with her furry friend that brought comfort and happiness to her every day.
Heather was preceded in death by grandparents, Kathy Burgin and Edith Logdson; aunt Charlotte Bryant and uncle Joe Burgin.
She is survived by her parents, Henry and Tammy Burgin; brother, John Burgin; grandfather, Henry Burgin; along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 10-1:30pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.

We have such fond memories of Heather & the Burgin family...all the way back to Bridgepoint Elementary School. We were heartbroken to hear of her passing. Praying for strength and comfort for your family in this time of sorrow.
