Since her first diagnosis of cancer as a child, and through each subsequent diagnosis in her adult life, Heather fought with optimism and courage. A free spirit who marched to the beat of her own drum, Heather loved coming up with little nicknames and cute sayings for her medical teams, friends, family, and pets. She had a thoughtful and creative knack for buying gifts, always finding the perfect item that expressed her love in ways she didn't say out loud. With her great sense of humor, she would sneak copious amounts of candy into movie theaters with her dad and loved Johnny Depp to the very depths of her soul.
A celebration of Heather's colorful life will be held at her sister's home on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
