Heather D. Conti, loving mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024, She was 89,
Heather was born October 14, 1934 in East Orange NJ to Bernard and Sophie (Zmyewski) Domaleski. Heather had one brother, Robert and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins whom she adored spending time with growing up.
Heather worked in many settings but loved working as a veterinarian receptionist in NJ and then as a Hospice CNA in Stuart, FL best of all. Heather enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, home decorating and especially caring for family, friends and pets.
Heather is predeceased by her brother, Bob, her parents and her daughter Cheryl Vitalle who passed away in 2007. She has a son Chris (Liz) of NJ and daughter Kim (Jerry) of NC as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren!
Her laughter and the love she shared will be forever remembered and sadly missed, along with her spaghetti sauce and brownies!
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who helped Heather in her journey for the loving care they provided.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM in the Chapel of St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway Charlotte, NC. Arrangements have been made through Roberson Funeral Home.
