Heather Snyder Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hardesty Funeral Home - Gambrills on Dec. 16, 2025.
Heather Snyder (née Geber) passed away December 13, 2025, surrounded by love and will be remembered for her fearless spirit, sharp wit, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. She was someone who truly lived life on her own terms-fun-loving, strong-minded, and never one to take nonsense from anyone.
Heather had a deep love for hockey and animals, passions that reflected both her competitive fire and her enormous heart. Whether cheering loudly for her favorite team or caring for her beloved pets, she brought intensity, warmth, and humor into everything she did.
Born October 19, 1976, in Washington, D.C., Heather was a 1998 computer science graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David Snyder; her cherished son, Evan Snyder; her loving parents, Fred and Charlene "Gidget" Geber; her brother, Brian (wife Daniela) and nephew, Tristan; her caring in-laws, Grace & Bob Snyder, and their daughter, Megan; and her adored pets Calle, Dobbie, Rey, and Wilson, who were family to her in every sense of the word.
Heather leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and authenticity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
