Ronald Lee Grassel

Ronald Grassel, 91, of Annapolis, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22 with Ronnie at his side. Ron was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 31, 1934, the son of Edward and Clara Grassel and youngest of 9 siblings.
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn, daughter Janet, and grandson Alex. He is survived by his sons John (and his wife, Susan); Jay (and his wife, Debbie), and Ronnie (and his wife, Chris). Also survived by his grandchildren Jackie, Jay R, Jaison, Lindsay, Daniel, Olivia, and Maddie.
Ron was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and spent the majority of his professional career working at the Westinghouse Research and Development campus in Churchill PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church at 1070 Cecil Ave S, Millersville, MD 21108 on January 8th at 11:00 AM. The burial will occur at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. and there will be a reception afterwards.
