Heather Webster Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home (Grundy) on Jan. 28, 2025.
Heather Lynn Webster, age 49, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Thursday January 23rd, 2024. Heather attended Mountain Mission School, and later attended Harper Creek High School. She spent a lot of time in different areas of the country having grown up in Grundy, moving to Michigan, living in Nickelsville, and eventually spending days on the beaches of Pensacola, Florida. She had a zest for travel and seeing all of the places the world has to offer. She lived her life as if tomorrow was not promised and fulfilled so much within her short time on this Earth.
A dedicated, affectionate, and caring woman of faith, Heather devoted her time and spirit to helping those around her find the most important thing in life; a love for Jesus Christ. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, becoming a CNA and working alongside her mother, loving on her sweet dog Olive, reading her Bible, as well as doing ministry work to make sure the Word of God was delivered to all the souls she could touch. To know Heather was to know God. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and made sure anyone she encountered knew it as she walked proudly in her faith. Heather was reunited in Heaven with her sister Stacy, father Johnny Ray Christian, maternal grandparents Opal and Phillip Stiltner, paternal grandparents Henry Christian and Audrey Rife, uncles Johnny Stiltner, Mark Stiltner, and Mitchell Stiltner, aunt Donna Christian, and her beloved dogs Buster and Desi.
She is survived by her mother Debbie and stepfather Robert DeVries, special sister Cora Stiltner, special friend Cesar Navas, her loving dog Olive, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins along with her friends in Christ that she made through the journey of life.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted in knowing she is rejoicing with the Lord. For in His light, we find comfort in understanding that she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.
A celebration of life for Heather will be held at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home in Grundy on a later date.
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
"When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky." -Helen Steiner Rice
