Heather Michelle Yoder

Heather Michelle Yoder (nee Novak), 38, passed away on September 22, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky.

Though our relationship was complicated and distance marked much of our lives together, she will be remembered as our daughter, sister and mother.

Heather was born on December 14, 1986, in Trenton, New Jersey to Geraldine "Dina" Marie Briggman and Mark Joseph Novak.

She leaves behind two children, a Daughter, Caren Lynne and a Son, Trystan Calan both of Riverview, Florida, Mother, Geraldine "Dina" Marie Beard also of Riverview, Florida, Step-Father Robert Franklin Beard Jr. of Miles City, Montana, her paternal Grandfather, John F. Novak Sr. of Ewing Township, New Jersey, two Sisters and a Brother-in-law, Cassandra Marie (Jason Glen) Hawkins of Paris, Kentucky and Erin Noelle Briggman also of Paris, 3 nephews, Jason, Chase and Max , all of Paris, Kentucky, 5 nieces, Emma (Parker) Hansen of St. George, Utah, Carleigh, Savannah, Izabella, all of Paris, Kentucky and Meredith of Texas, 1 Great-Nephew, Benny of St. George, Utah, 3 Aunts, Dorothy J. Snyder of Yardville, New Jersey, Audrey (Art) Leon of Ewing Township, New Jersey and Nicole Marie Meisberger (Steve)of Lawrenceville, Georgia, 6 Uncles, Edward H. (Beverly) Lloyd Jr. of Hamilton Township, NJ, William T. (Patti) Lloyd of Trinity, North Carolina, Eric K. (Helene) Lloyd of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, George Leon, and Jerold Leon both of Culpeper, Virginia, John F. Novak Jr. of Tabernacle, New Jersey, Roy E. Novak Sr. of West Virginia, Robert K. (Debra) Novak Sr. of Weston, West Virginia, James A. Novak of Pennington, New Jersey, and William H. (Nancy) Beard of Blackwood, New Jersey. 2 Great Aunts, Louise Hawthorne Gernhardt of Hamilton Township, New Jersey and Laura Neise Gernhardt of Hamilton Township, New Jersey. 2 Great Uncles, Edward L. Gernhardt Jr. of Bordentown, New Jersey, and Lawrence G. Gernhardt of Mount Upton, New York. As well as many, many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Mark Joseph Novak, paternal Grandmother Anna May Novak (nee Fink), maternal Grandparents Mildred Veronica (nee Gernhardt) and Jeffrey Lynn Briggman, 2 brothers Christopher Michael and Jaime Lee Novak, a Sister Leighanne Marie Briggman-Beard, and 3 Aunts Sandra D. Novak, Teresa A. Ronyack (nee Novak), and Veronica M. Lloyd.

She will be remembered privately by family; cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
