Heather "Fred" Zachary-Goyer, 42, was a resident of Slaughter, La. She was reunited with her daddy in her heavenly home on Monday, June 5, 2023.
Heather is survived by her husband, Robbie Goyer, children, Cole Zachary, Cana Zachary, Londyn Zachary, Lucyanne Zachary, Bristol Zachary and Bonnie Goyer, mother, Darlene Knight, sisters, Lindsey Knight and Alicia Atwell (Josh), mother in law, Dawn Turner(Kerry), father in law, Daniel Goyer (Rosie), former husband and dear friend, Shane Zachary and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Heather is preceded in death by her father, Randy Knight. Heather was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and niece. She had a heart that loved beyond measure and knew no end. She was a published author, a homesteader and passionate for healthy living and essential oils. She loved to sing, and passed that love and talent onto her children. She loved her children but most of all loved her God. Heather was a fighter and a warrior to the very end. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 AMP"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."
Special thank you to Nicole Epps, Amy Sullivan, Tiffany Carlton and Karen Burdette for their love, support and care throughout Heather's journey.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Fellowship Church in Zachary from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 6:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Glen Kirby.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Goyer Sr., Daniel Goyer Jr., Shane Zachary, Steven Barker, Eric Knight, Cory Knight, Jeremy Epps and Jason Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearers are Cory Hutchinson, Kerry Turner, Josh Atwell, Beau Barker, Darrell Barker, Daniel Reed, Cody Reed and Matthew Reed.
