Hector Trevino Castillo

Hector T. Castillo, age 70, of Pleasanton, Texas passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Pleasanton, Texas surrounded by family and friends. He now rests in the arms of Jesus. He was born in Jourdanton, Texas, December 12,1955 to Rudolfo Montemayor Castillo, Sr., and Eloisa Trevino Castillo.

Hector's greatest love was his family, being outdoors working in his garden planting plants and transplanting plants such as chili peqines he hand picked at the ranch, raising farm animals, fishing, hunting, making salsa, eating sweets (ice cream), and cooking (B-B-Q) just to have everyone together.

He is survived by his daughters, Dori A. Castillo, Rachel C. Rodriguez and husband Adam Rodriguez, grandchildren, Phil, Anabell and Adalyna all of Pleasanton Texas, brother, Alonzo T. Castillo and wife Irma; sister, Esther C. Gonzalez, and numerous nephews and nieces.

He wass preceded in death by his father, Rudolfo Montemayor Castillo, Sr., mother, Eloisa Trevinio Castillo, brothers, Rudy Castillo Jr; Oscar T. Castillo Sr; and sister Mary Cruz.

Hector will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his green thumb, loving heart and friendship to anyone he met.

Services for Hector are scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026, at Community Christian Church, located at 12487 TX-16, Poteet Texas, beginning with a 9:00 AM visitation and an 11:00 AM funeral service. Interment to follow at Saint Andrews Cemetery No. 1, located at 1101 Uvalde St. Pleasanton Texas.
