Heidi Geroff Obituary
She was born Dec. 1, 1971, in Butler, and was the daughter of Dennis Kerr and Nancy (Brewster) Christy.
Heidi dedicated 25 years of her life to caring for others as a nurse. She enjoyed attending concerts and listening to music and she especially loved her pets.
Surviving are her son, Robert David Slater, of Butler; her mother and stepfather, Nancy and Donald Christy, of Butler; her father, Dennis Kerr, of Butler; her uncle, Renwick Brewster, of Bridgewater, N.J.; and three cousins.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Drew Brewster; her grandmother, Miriam McCall; her grandfather, James Brewster; and her stepgrandfather, Robert McCall.
GEROFF - Private services and burial will be held for Heidi Lynn Geroff, who died Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.
Arrangements have been entrusted to YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.

I was shocked when I saw the messages on Facebook today regarding Heidi. I am so sorry. She was always a spunky, funny soul. God bless you and your grandson and family during this difficult time.

I am so so saddened to hear of this loss. I remember Heidi was never afraid or would hold back from saying exactly the way she saw things, and she was the nicest person to be considered a friend if you were lucky enough to know her and get to know who she was. I was lucky enough to know Heidi as a part of my BHS Class of 1990. She is sorely missed and I am so saddened to heat this. My thoughts are directly sent to her whole family.

I worked with Heidi at Target. We had so much fun together. I always looked forward to my shifts when I knew she was working. She made it fun. She will definitely be missed. R.I.P. Heidi
