Heidi Kent Obituary
Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Ms. Rebekkah Heidi Kent, age 43 of Warren Street in Gibson who died on Monday, December 22, 2025.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday December 27, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. Tony Mimbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Euphrates Church Cemetery in Edgehill. Serving as pallbearers will be Dean Reese, Matt Kent, Russ Usry, Kyle Downs, Reid Rhodes and Andrew Turner. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Heidi was born November 5, 1982, in Macon, GA, the only daughter of Mark O. Kent and the late Rendia Wells Kent. Heidi was an I.T. Expert and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents Willie B. Wells, Adelle Sammons Wells, Donald Kent and Sarah Mangum Kent and is survived by her beloved father, Mark O. Kent of Gibson, Aunt & Uncle, Lucinda & Roy Brookins of Byron, GA Uncle Judson Arrington Twin Falls, Idaho, High School – College sisters, Laurinda Ogburn, Jaye Martin, Jessica Van Noecker, and Trista Bowers, several cousins and lifelong friends.
A heartfelt thanks to the ministries of Mitchell Full Gospel Church, Full Gospel Lighthouse Church, and Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family of Heidi asks that you consider memorials in her name to Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church.
