Helen E. Borger, 97, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Carl and Elsie (Jetter) Heldmaier. Helen was a Christian and her favorite songs were Trust and Obey, and Great is Thy Faithfulness. Her heart was full of compassion, always caring for others and those she held dear. Those who crossed her path made a dear friend. She adored Judge Judy, playing puzzles, cards and dominoes with family. She traveled the world and found China to be her favorite, and also enjoyed years of boating on Lake Michigan.
Helen is survived by her son; Ronald C. Burda of Arizona. Daughters; Susan T. (Jack) Ragsdale of Florida and Linda A. McCullagh of Illinois, sister-in-law Kay Burda and daughter-in-law Patrice Burda of Illinois. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and countless friends and neighbors.
Helen was preceded in death by both of her parents; Carl and Elsie Heldmaier of Germany. Beloved husband Dale Borger and former husband Henry Bud Burda; Son, Robert H. Burda and brother, Carl Heldmaier and sister-in-law Carol; brother-in-law Jerry Burda.
Helens life was a beautiful celebration and her presence was a continual blessing. Although losing her is heartbreaking, we are reminded of her wisdom that this too shall pass. To know her was to be embraced by her kindness and forever changed by her presence. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
