89, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2026. Born and raised in Cranston, Helen lived there her entire life, where she loved being surrounded by family and the many friends she made over the years.
Helen dedicated forty years of her professional life to Rhode Island Hospital Trust, where she served as a bank manager. Known for her strong work ethic and leadership, she supervised three shifts of employees and was such a valued member of the organization that she was called back out of retirement twice.
Above all else, Helen cherished her family and friendships. She maintained a close and wonderful circle of friends from childhood and work throughout her life. She loved to travel with her family and especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore DeCesare. Helen was a devoted mother to Robyn Procaccini and her husband Charles and Kelly Albright.
She was a loving grandmother to Dr. Julianna O'Toole and her husband Shane, and Dr. Maria Procaccini, and a cherished great-grandmother to Noah and Maeve O' Toole. She was the beloved sister of Marjorie Spaziano and her husband, the late David; Linda Hughes and her husband Paul; and the late Wilfred Grossi.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Monday morning from 9:00 – 10:00am.
