Helen T. Fisher, age 89 of Wautoma, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025 in her home.

She was born on October 5, 1935 in Columbia Station, Ohio. The daughter of Andrew W. Maddock and Anna G. (Fuchs) Maddock. She married John I. Fisher on April 24, 1954 at Saint Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Being each other’s sweethearts for 66 wonderful years. 

 Helens desire to continue impacting children's lives lead her to a career in 1969 at Stow High School. In 1977, Helen and her family moved to the Wautoma area where she continued her career at Wautoma High School until her retirement on March 4, 2016. In these 47 years Helen has touched and helped many families in this community. 

She was a faithful member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma. She was very active in the church, taking part in various clubs and organizations. Her passion was participating in mass on Thursdays and giving the readings. Her favorite pastimes included traveling with her husband John, spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cooking for her family, tending to her flowers, cutting the grass, shopping, fashion and enjoying time with friends and family on Porters Lake. 

She is survived by her loving sons, John (Ingrid), Tim (Laurie), Martin (Michelle), Robert (Lola), Brian (Ramona), Craig (Deana); grandchildren, Steven, Lindsay, Christiana, Ian, Bailey, Craig Jr., Stacy, Kim, Amanda, Caitlin, Emily, Lyla; great grandchildren Aidan, Charlotte, Shyler, Atticus, Emmy, Alexis, Delainey, Vienna, Logan, Ella, Calienne, Craig III, Alannah, Sawyer, Raylan, and her two sisters Carol and Yvonne. 

 Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband John of 66 years, her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Visitation and Mass will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, starting at 11:30 and Mass at 1:00 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. Located at 364 S. Cambridge St. Wautoma, Wi. 54982.
