Helen M. Fultz, age 92 of Middletown, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, OH. She was born April 8, 1932 in Norfolk, VA to the late Fred and Lulu Belle (Griggs) Fugate. Helen was a member of the West Elkton Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years; was a former Cub Scout Leader; she helped to start the West Elkton Library; and worked as a cook at Preble Shawnee Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Porter Ray Fultz; infant son Fred Garfield Fultz; sons Jonathan Fultz and Daniel Fultz; son-in-law Oscar Reynolds; grandsons David Reynolds, Lowell Reynolds and Daniel Fultz II; and sister June Brown. She is survived by her son Steven (Dona) Fultz of New Richmond, OH; daughter Kathy Reynolds of Rising Sun, IN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister Sandra Fugate; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at the West Elkton Methodist Church, 120 South Main Street, West Elkton OH with Pastor Sandra Apgar and Pastor Steven Fultz officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton. Gard Funeral Home, Gratis is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be sent to the church.
