Helen Hendrixson

Helen Elizabeth Thompson Hendrixson, 91, of Rossville passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 27th, 2025. Helen was born January 27th, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH to the late William Nelson and Reba Othelia Flora Thompson. She worked as a registered nurse for many years with Dr. Sam Banks at the Chattanooga Skin & Cancer Clinic. She was an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church for over 55 years where she was a part of the Women's Bible Study and handbell choir. Her favorite hobbies were traveling to many countries with her husband and shopping whenever she had the opportunity.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 ½ years, Arthur Hendrixson; daughter, Judith Ann Gamble; siblings, Dr. Jerry Thompson and Clarene Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Lawrence (Lora), Harold Hendrixson, Peggy (John) Diane Denham, and Barbara Lynn McNabb; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild
