Helen Markham Obituary

She married Daniel B. Sharum on February 1953, and to this union four children were born. He preceded her in death on June 6,1999. Helen then met and married Haskell Markham on April of 2003.
Helen was a homemaker and a master seamstress. She enjoyed thrift shopping, garage sales, and going to McDonald's for a McRib and a frozen Dr. Pepper. She adored and loved spending time with her grandkids. She also loved feeding ducks and fishing in her free time. She spent many days sitting on the front porch and enjoying life.
Private family services will be conducted. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Sayre, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory is her son, Dennis Sharum and wife Jodie of Elk City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Cynthia Sharum Mackey, of Sayre, Oklahoma; one niece Patty LeBarre of Walters, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Jeromie Price of Hammon, Oklahoma; Jennifer Baker of Sayre, Oklahoma; Melissa Sharum and Brady Sharum both of Elk City, Oklahoma; Misty Compton of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Lori Lemons of Elk City, Oklahoma; Chrystina Young of Sayre, Oklahoma; Cathy Gilmore of Jacksonville, Texas; and Jacque Osborne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by parents; two husbands; one daughter, Helen Diana Young; one son, Rodney Glen Sharum; three brothers, Chuck Wingo, Frank Wingo, and Walt Wingo; two sisters, Rosetta Wilson Nance and Hazel Wingo.
Memorials can be made to charity of choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, 906 N 4th St, Sayre, Oklahoma 73662.
