Barbara (Flanery) Gray of Sayre, Oklahoma passed away on August 22, 2023. She was born on November 26, 1962 in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Marvin Leroy Sr.(1992) and Barbara Jean Flanery(1992). She is also preceded in death by her brother Patrick Lee Flanery(1987) and by her husband Kenny Gray(2017).
Barb had a passion for helping children out within her community, especially for Halloween making sure she went all out with homemade baskets of toys and candy. She also had a deep, long term love for the Winnie the Pooh Universe.
Barbara spent many years abroad and upon returning to the United States, moved in with her grandmother, Amelia Woody, where she displayed love and compassion and cared for her throughout her cancer diagnosis until she passed away in 1995.
Barb is survived by her children Timothy Susanto(Colorado Springs, CO), Michael Flanery(Fort Wayne, IN), and Chantel Flanery(Dalton, MA). She also leaves behind her siblings Marvin L Flanery Jr.(Christina), Tina Flanery, Natalie Stogdill, and Lucia Les. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Private Family Services will be scheduled at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Sayre, Oklahoma.
Memorials can be made to charity of your choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, 906 N 4th St, Sayre, Oklahoma 73662.
