Helen was born October 16th, 1964 in Westminster, MD, a daughter of Maurice Poole of Westminster, MD, and the late Predita Kelly Poole.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years David Franklin May; her son Joey Goss and wife Brittany of Morgantown; a granddaughter Navaeh; and her sister Kathy King of Westminster, MD
Helen graduated from high school in Westminster, MD and formerly worked as a supply chain clerk for WVU Medicine. More than anything, she dearly loved her granddaughter and enjoyed all the time she could spend with her.
Friends may join the family to honor Helen's life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover on Tuesday, October 29th from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. There will be no funeral service to follow, and Helen's request for cremation will be honored following the visitation.
