Linda Kay (Pierce) Weber was born March 3, 1953, to the late William and June Pierce. She peacefully went on to be with her savior on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Mon Health Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was raised in Cassville, West Virginia, and graduated from University High School in 1971. Linda married John Weber, the love of her life, on September 28, 1973. They were married for 51 years.

Linda worked for Monongalia County Board of Education as a custodian for 20 years before retiring to help raise her grandchildren. Linda was best known as Grammy to not only her grandchildren but also many extended family and friends.

She was an avid Mountaineer fan. Linda's happiest times were spent traveling. Her favorite place to be was at the beach, sitting under an umbrella with a book in her hand, and with her family. She was her family's biggest cheerleader and supporter.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia, and a brother, Frank Pierce.

Linda is survived by her husband John, her son Tony, and daughter-in-law Mandy Weber, her daughter Melinda, and son-in-law Brandon Sickles, five grandchildren, Hannah and Paden Weber, and Chloe, Bryce, and Carlie Sickles, along with her sister Sue Wolfe, and special niece Shawna Hedrick, all of Morgantown.

Linda will be greatly missed by several sisters and brothers-in-law, and special nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, from 4 - 8 PM and again on Tuesday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Her interment will take place at the WV National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Mon Health Cancer Center.
