My first memory...When I was about 5 years old, I was sitting on the floor in her home with my sister and cousin Kerrie. We were all being goofy and making faces. I made a silly face and crossed my eyes. My Aunt Helen happened to be walking past at that moment and told me that I shouldn't cross my eyes because if someone smacked me on my back, my eyes would stay that way forever. I still crossed my eyes after that, but I always looked behind me first before I did!
