Helen C. Morrell

Helen C. "Liz" Morrell, 87, of Milton passed away on Saturday October 28, 2023, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland, where she had been a resident for three months.
Born on September 4, 1936, in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Clair (Mathias) Kerstetter. She was married to the late Donald B. Morrell. Together they celebrated 47 years of marriage.
Helen was educated in the Milton Schools and attended St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker, worked at the Capital Theater, was a waitress in the Betsy Ross Tea Room for 15 years and retired from W.T. Grant in 1976.
Helen enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, crafts, was an avid bowler and loved to play Bingo. She was a member of the Milltown Campers of Pardee and enjoyed square dancing with her husband. She enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them from her window. She especially adored her dog Toby who was always by her side. She was a giving person and enjoyed family gatherings.
She is survived by a daughter Karen Geise and her husband Philip of Northumberland, a son Benjamin Morrell of Milton, a brother Rodney G. Kerstetter and his wife Linda of Montgomery, a sister Ardis A. Schramm of Millmont, and a granddaughter Olivia, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her twin brother Dolin E. Roush and a brother-in-law Bruce Schramm.
