Helen Irene Moulder, 87, passed away peacefully at Jefferson Health Care, Lee’s Summit, MO on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Friends are invited to share memories of Helen at a visitation from 9:30-10:30 am Saturday February 01, 2025 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel (1640 N. MO. 291 Hwy. Liberty, MO 64068). Followed by funeral services at 10:30am. Interment will be in Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Helen was born January 02, 1938, in New Albany, IN to John and Lucille (Murphy) Sheppard. She worked for many years as a Sales Clerk at Montgomery Wards and Walmart. In her free time Helen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making quilts. She also enjoyed watching episodes of Law and Order.
Christmas was her favorite time of year. You could find Helen either listening to Christmas music or watching a Hallmark Christmas movie on TV.
Helen looked forward to preparing large meals for her entire family that always include her mother’s homemade noodle recipe. She was a doting grandma and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Helen always enjoyed showing her grandchildren different way to have fun and teaching them games like Dominos that they would play for hours.
Helen Married Lloyd “Dutch” Moulder, May 3, 1979. He preceded her in death August 14, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her two daughters.
She is survived by her son Bradley Moulder (Michelle), 5 grandchildren Heather Franklin, Mikayla Moulder, Brandon Moulder, Lyzander Moulder and Xaydrien Moulder. Her two sisters Maryln Darrah and Caryln Gomez.
