Helen E. Murphy, of Williamstown, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Traditions of Cross Keys in Glassboro.
Devoted mother of Chuck (Donna) Shipe, Teri (John) Melora and Traci (Paul) Craig. Loving Nanny of Stephen (Katie) Madosky, Ali (Ben) Richard, Demetria Shipe (David Mazzilli), Logen (Christian) Carmolingo, Tori Madosky, Aubrey (Tyler) Zeisloft, Angelina Madosky and Franchesca Shipe. Loving great grandmother of David Luca, Olivia, Evelyn, Eliot, Mary, Lillian, Harper, Colton and Christian. Dear sister of James (the late Linda) Murphy, Michael (Pat) Murphy, Thomas (Cathy) Murphy and the late Edward (the late Eileen) Murphy Jr.
Helen spent over 25 dedicated years serving as Supervisor for the Department of Motor Vehicle Commission. Helen loved spending time at the beach and the casinos but most importantly with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, April 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Wednesday, April 9th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's R.C. Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Inurnment All Saints Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
