Helen Annette (Traver) Reynolds, 71, of Harrod, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Hospital. She was born in Middleburgh, New York on February 4, 1954, to Richard Traver and Mabel (Nethaway) LeRuzic.
On March 19, 1976, she married the love of her life, Dale M. Reynolds, who survives, along with their three children: Crystal (Ken) Palmer of Prudenville, Michigan; Robin (David) Compton of Kenton; and Mark (Amy) Reynolds of Blair, Nebraska. Also surviving are six grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Simon (Brittany) Reynolds, Adam Palmer, Nathaniel Compton, Christopher Compton, Devini Reynolds, and Tegan Reynolds. She is survived by her mother and two of her brothers: Mark (Carol) Traver and George Traver, as well as two brothers-in-law: Mike (Mary) Reynolds, and Kevin (Valerie) Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers: Clinton C. Traver and Albert Traver; her in-laws: Donald and Evelyn Reynolds; and sister-in-law: Wendy Reynolds.
Helen spent the last almost 5 years at Vancrest in Ada, OH, where she enjoyed winning Bingo, doing crafts, reading, and making people smile.
She loved her cats and had a general compassion for animals. Her favorite had to be cows, though. She collected all kinds of cow collectibles throughout the years.
Helen was full of love and imagination. She loved to make people smile and hoped they would find their joy.
It was her wish to be cremated and have her ashes spread at a couple of places close to her heart. Arrangements for the Reynolds family are in the care of SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. There will be no services, but potentially a memorial gathering at a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Reynolds family in Helen's memory. Condolences may be expressed online at stoutcrates.com.
