Helen Williams Reynolds, 92, of Dauphin Island, passed away June 10, 2025 at her home. Helen was born April 9, 1933 to Joe and Lyda S. Williams. She became a member of Friendship Baptist Church in her younger years; though life carried her through a few churches Helen came home to Friendship Baptist whenever possible. Helen was a truly special woman who loved with all her heart. She cherished her family, both kin and chosen, and treasured time spent with her loved ones.
Helen is survived by her sons, Wayne (Charlene) Reynolds and Lee Reynolds; two sisters; three grandchildren, Jessica Reynolds, Angela Reynolds Hatfield and Daniel Zechenelly; five great grandchildren, Wesley, Grady, Daniel, Zoe, and Ella Rose; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband of 50+ years, Grady Grover Reynolds; daughter, Shirley Reynolds Zechenelly; 2 grandsons and 3 sisters.
Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Friendship Baptist Church in Silver Cross. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral begins at 1:00 p.m. with Bro James Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home.
