Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Louise Rivers will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Hanging Moss Church of Christ, 5225 Hanging Moss Road, Jackson, Mississippi. Her Final Resting Place will at Garden Memorial Cemetery, 8001 Highway 49 North, Jackson, Mississippi.

Helen Louise Harris Rivers was born on October 27, 1947, in Jackson, Mississippi, to the late Bob Harris and Lillie Mae Harris. She peacefully departed this life on November 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Helen was a woman of compassion, strength, and unwavering love. She was preceded in death by her two beloved sisters, Betty Price and Mattie Jean Mixon, as well as her cherished niece, Valerie Mixon.

Helen's legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Larry Rivers; her brother, Bobbie Harris; her daughters, Evelyn Lewis, Colette Robinson, and Margaret Robinson; her son, Yakariel (Monique) Robinson; and two bonus children: Ebony Helton and Shawn Rivers.

Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Michael Lewis, Dionte Robinson, Terrance Jones, Terry Robinson, Kennedy Robinson, Brayden Robinson, Logan Helton, and Naryah Rivers. Each one held a special place in her heart. Helen also adored her great-grandchildren: Aiden Guilty, Chella Robinson, T'Asia Jones, Taya Jones, and Tia Marie Jones, whom she lovingly raised until her health began to decline. Her love for them was immeasurable.

Helen's memory will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith. Her life was a powerful testament to love, perseverance, and the importance of family bonds. Her gentle spirit and giving heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
