Helen C. Sampson

HELEN C. SAMPSON, age 86, of Irving, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at an assisted living home in Allen, Texas. Born August 18, 1924, she was the daughter of Albert Milberger and Christine Vavra Milberger. A resident of Irving since 1965, she was a retired secretary and bookkeeper. She worked with Hoflano Midland Bookkeeping, Worth Food Market for 20 years, Wyce Wholesale Company, and retired from Architectrial Carpentry Materials Company after 21 years. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Richard Sampson of Allen, Jerry Sampson of Plano and Helen A. Sampson of Irving; three grandchildren Jesse Sampson, Zachary Sampson, and Josh Sampson; and seven great grandchildren, Harley, Kalie, Savannah, Sydney, Eric, Madeline, and Kaleb. The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A rosary/vigil will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church 2323 Cheyenne in Irving. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane in Dallas.
