Helen Alene Schultz, 93, of Springfield, MO, left us peacefully on August 30, 2025.

Helen was born on May 17, 1932 to Edna and August Rohde, in Lockwood, MO. She had 1 sister, Laverna Gould, who preceded her in death.

Helen grew up in Lockwood, MO and moved to Springfield, after high school to attend Draugns Business College. She was always active in the Lutheran church and met her future husband thru church activities.

Helen and George were married December 26, 1951. They had been married 45 years when George died in 1996. Helen and George had 3 children and brought them up in the Lutheran church.

Helen enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family–especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved playing cards and games. She really enjoyed watching both Springfield and St. Louis Cardinals, both in person and on TV.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, George.

She is survived by her 3 children: Sylvia Watson and her husband Cary, Shirley Marsh and her husband Danny, and David Schultz. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren: Ryan Marsh and his wife Zoei, Greg Marsh and his wife Heather, and Kayla Pike and her husband Dyami.

Helen has 4 great-grandchildren: Daniel, Lydia and Jonathan Marsh, and Asher Pike. She is leaving behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
