Helen was the only child of Carl and Virginia (Moran) Moore, she was born July 23, 1931 and went home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the age of 93.

She was born on a farm in Chilhowee, Missouri and moved to Kansas City with her parents at the age of 4. Helen graduated from East High School in 1948 where she met and then married her husband Patrick G. Diecidue Sr. in June; they were married 43 years before his passing September 10,1991. She was also preceded in death by her son Patrick G. Diecidue Jr. on May 3, 2020.

Helen is survived by her 3 daughters, Joan Mellor (Michael) of Oak Grove, Carla McClure (Kim) of Lee's Summit and Ginger Kaestner (Jeff) of Lee's Summit, and her daughter-in-law Sheryl Diecidue of Oak Grove. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Helen volunteered at her church when her children were young and later, for many years, was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary at Spofford Home for Children.

Her ashes will be inurned next to her beloved husband Patrick in a private service.
