Helen Steffy

Helen M. Steffy, 93, of Wyomissing, passed away at Reading Hospital on July 13, 2025. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Williard L. and Catherine I. (Himmelberger) Wells. She was the loving wife of Carl E. Steffy, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage until his passing in 2014.
She was a devoted member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lincoln Park.
Helen devoted her life to being a dedicated homemaker. She had a talent for cooking and had a passion for flowers and gardening. Most importantly, she cherished her role as a grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Richard A. Steffy, husband of Mary Ann (Stump), and Mark A. Steffy. Also surviving is her step-son, Gary W. Krick, husband of Patricia. She will be deeply missed by her nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her son, Glenn Steffy, daughter, Donna Stoudt, three brothers, and one sister.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
