A visitation for Helen L Stewart, 94, of Longview, Texas, will be held at 9 AM-11AM Friday, October 3, 2025, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Entombment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, Texas. Helen passed away on September 30, 2025, at Whispering Pines Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Helen was born July 21, 1931, in Keefton, Oklahoma to Grady and Edith Brooks. Helen graduated from Stillwell High School in 1950. She went on to get her LVN license and worked at a local doctor's office there in Stillwell, Oklahoma before marrying the love of her life Jack Stewart in 1957. Helen is survived by her daughter Jackie and her husband Curtis Allen, granddaughter Cassie and husband Dane Sullivan, grandson Blake and his wife Lynn Allen. Precious great-grandchildren Peyton & Addison Sullivan and Jackson Allen along with many cherished nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Grady and Edith Brooks, brother LV Brooks, and husband Jack Stewart. Helen loved volunteering at Good Shepherd Medical Center where she served over 7000 hours in the surgical waiting area. Thank you to Whispering Pines NH and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith in Action Campaign at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, Texas.
