Helen Toretsky Obituary
It is with deep sadness in our hearts that Helen Toretsky passed away January 18, 2025 at age 101. She is preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Belle Toretsky. Survived by brother,Morris; nephews, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) and Mark; and great-nieces and nephew, Daniel, Anna (Matt), and Abigail. Helen was born Oct21, 1923 in Minneapolis. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. Helen was an outspoken, free-spirited person who was an exceptional cook, baker and loved to entertain. Funeral service WEDNESDAY, January 22, 2025 at 11:00am, at MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Also on zoom at www.hodroffs.com/HelenToretsky (see link below)
Maariv service Wednesday, 5:00pm at Sharei Chesed Congregation, 1712 Hopkins Crossroad, Minnetonka.
Memorials preferred to Struthers Parkinson's Center, Shriner's Children's, or the Humane Society of MN.
