Helen was born on October 16, 1942, in Columbia, Louisiana to Ida Mae Brown Willis and Miles Henry Willis. She was a retired schoolteacher.
Survivors include her sons, Kent Yount of Pendleton, South Carolina, Alvin Yount of West Monroe, and Greg Alan Yount of West Monroe; numerous grandchildren and other family members who will miss her dearly.
Private Memorial Services will take place at a later date. Cremation services will be handled by Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.
