Helen Marie Zuverink passed away on November 9, 2024, in Colchester, CT at the age of 87. Helen was born on February 27, 1937, and was known for her jovial, giving, caring nature, and being the life of the party. She brought love and laughter to all who knew her. Helen's life was marked by her dedication to service, particularly in her roles in administration and hospitality. She found great satisfaction working at Oak Hill School for the Blind, where her efforts made a significant impact. Helen's personal life was equally rich, having shared her journey with three spouses: Adolf Hast in 1957, Frank Masi in 1968, and Jack Zuverink in 1988, each marriage adding chapters of love and companionship to her story. Family was the cornerstone of Helen's life. She is survived by her loving family members: Linda Eselunas and spouse Donald, Tom Hast and spouse Terry, Anthony Masi and spouse Jason, Erik Masi and spouse Mary, Mary Rueff and spouse Matt, Laura Disanzo and spouse Pat, and Cassie Zuverink, along with 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse John "Jack" Zuverink, son Donald Hast, and stepson Jim Zuverink. Helen cherished her time with family and friends, especially during summers at the beach and traveling with her husband, Jack. These moments were among the most joyous in her life. Helen passed away peacefully at Complete Care at Harrington Court, surrounded by caring aids.
