I will never forget her. She served me my first lunch at Ginter Park School. I believe the menu was ham, yams, a roll and something else. Extra rolls cost 2 cents.
I did not like all of my teachers, but I certainly liked her.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Lena. During my years on staff at St. Paul's the Pierotti sisters were a source of wonderful support and advice. They seemed to know everyone in Richmond and they were very kind to a young Northerner who was out of his element. Often they took me under their wings and "protected" me from the difficulties of parish life. I cherish the many wonderful memories I have of them both and will miss them more than I can say. May God grant Lena a place of happiness, light, and peace, in His heavenly kingdom. Her family is in my prayers at this difficult time. I pray that good memories of better days and our shared faith bring you each comfort and peace.
Sincerely,
George C. Martin

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Pierotti. May God be with the family at this time.
It always made me smile whenever Helena and Flavia came into Ukrops and Martins to shop. They were always smiling and sweet. It was a pleasure assisting them and I always looked forward to seeing them on their next trip to the store. I will always have fond memories of Helena and Flavia.
