Helena Venchis Obituary
Of Dorchester, died peacefully at home in her sleep on January 1, 2025 at the age of 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Venchis.
Loving mother of John Venchis of Dorchester, and Mary Vintoniv and her husband Miro Vintoniv of Jamaica Plain.
Devoted “Babcia” of Michael Vintoniv, Peter Vintoniv and his wife Jules Cho, Andrej Venchis and his wife Emily Venchis, and Melissa Venchis.
Sister of Sofia Wolk-Karaczewski of Belarus, and pre-deceased by 5 other siblings.
Helena is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Helena’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Ave., South Boston, at 11:00 A.M.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
