Raffaele SANTORO Obituary

SANTORO, Raffaele At the culmination of nine momentous decades, Raffaele Santoro passed away in Boston, surrounded by the love of his family. A natural born leader, Mr. Santoro rose to the top of the corporate ladder in his native country, Italy, only to arrive at a different assessment of life's meaning and embark on a formidable voyage at sea. He was the captain of many ships, most devotedly the one carrying his entire family.

His passing is mourned by his deeply beloved wife of 64 years, Barbara; by his nephew, Arturo; by his three children, Stefano, Claudia and Lara; and by his grandchildren, Vittoria, Gaia and Raffaele.

An informal gathering will be held at 9:15 AM, on Tuesday, August 26, at the Church of Saint Cecilia in the Back Bay of Boston, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. No flowers please, only donations to charity. Burial will take place at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
