Helene Poster Obituary
Helene K. Poster, 97, of Pottstown, passed away Monday October 27th in Pottstown Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Helene was born in North Bergen, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Viskoc and Pauline Viskoc.
She attended school in New York. Over the years she was a housewife and a waitress.
She was employed for many years at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown.
She enjoyed gardening, and was well-known for her great peanut butter and coconut cream eggs at Easter.
She was a volunteer for St. Aloysius Church in Pottstown for 30 years.
Surviving are two children, Patricia A. Keim, widow of Bruce Keim of Womelsdorf and Robert P. Poster, husband of Raachell Poster of Warren, Oregon.
There are two grandchildren, Emily McGrade, wife of Frank McGrade and Ryan Poster, husband of Julia Poster. Also, there are three great grandchildren, Everett McGrade and Adalyn and Arlo Poster.
She is predeceased by several siblings, Mary Bertucci, Teresa Harmolin, and Anna, Paul, Aloiz, Steven, John, and Peter Viskoc.
She is predeceased by a son, Joseph P. Poster and survived by Joseph’s children, Joby, Jason, and Aaron Poster.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities, 57 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19494.
The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
