Helma Margarette Lambert

Funeral services for Helma Margarette Lambert, 78, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Greg Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. The visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2024, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Lambert was born on February 24, 1945, in Trier, Germany to parents, Alfred and Elisabeth Pelzer, and she passed away on December 30, 2023, in West Monroe, Louisiana. She moved to the United States at the age of twenty-three years old and stayed here her whole life raising her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Elisabeth Pelzer; her husband, Jerry Lambert; and her son, Mario Lambert.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jody Lambert and his wife, Kim; daughter, Manuela Doucett and her husband, Mike; grandsons, Austin Lambert, Coby Colvin, and Garrett Lambert; granddaughters, Atlanna Thomas and Ainsley Lambert; great-grandchildren, Ava Lambert and Ashton Lambert; as well as a host of friends and others who thought of her as “Momma”.

The pallbearers will be Jody Lambert, Randy Lambert, James Anderson, Scotty Hendrix, Monty Burnett, and Mike Doucett.

We thank God every day for the time we had with this very special lady. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for her.
