Steven Wallace Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Darlene Wallace, and his sister, Linda Wallace. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Kay Berry Wallace; children, Sam and Alicia Wallace; stepchildren Bryan Aycock and Amanda Lee, and grandchildren, Addison and Anniston Lee, along with a host of friends.
He proudly served in the United States Army. He later built a successful career in the technology industry, earning recognition as an award-winning salesman with IBM, and eventually founding and operating his own computer software company, Soaring Eagle Systems.
Steve was an avid reader. He loved to watch sports, especially baseball and football. In his early years, he loved to play softball and served as an umpire in adult leagues. One of Steve's greatest pleasures was listening to his wife, Kay, play the piano, whether in the quiet of their home or when she shared her gift with others.
Visitation will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.
