Scott Douglas Trichell

Scott "Chief" Douglas Trichell was born on August 3, 1955, in Monroe, La. and passed peacefully away on February 10, 2026, in Calhoun La. at the age of 70.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 3:00PM in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe, La. 71291 with Pastor Justin Uselton and Pastor Eugene Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Paschal cemetery in West Monroe, La. at a later date.

Scott is preceded in death by his father O.C Trichell, Mother Floy "Vernell" Trichell, Brothers Ted Trichell and Rodger Trichell, Sister Judy Trichell.

He leaves behind is spouse Shelia Trichell, children Codi Trichell, Holly Fulmer and stepson Chad Tucker. Siblings David Trichell and wife Sue. 5 grandchildren Major Bailey, Forrest Fulmer, Caleb, Lola, and Reese Tucker.

Chief attended Rocky Branch assembly of God. He loved hunting and fishing, playing the guitar and racing his boat. Scott enjoyed his vinyl siding business. He was a loving father and was always making people laugh. Chief will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Codi Trichell, Holly Fulmer, Todd Fulmer, TJ Fulmer, Braydon Mayo and Ronald Meredith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Trichell, Dan Trichell and Justin Bailey.
