OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Joseph Ronnie Trichell, age 73 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Ronnie Ainsworth will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery near Oak Grove.

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday, February 19, 20226 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.

Ronnie passed into eternal life on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove.

Ronnie proudly served his county in the United States Army as a young man, carrying with him the quiet strength and resilience that defined his life. After serving honorably in the United States Army, Ronnie returned home to Oak Grove, Louisiana where he spent the remainder of his life.

His family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the caring staff at West Carroll Care Center for their kindness and compassion shown to Ronnie Trichell during his stay.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Aaron "Sonny" Trichell; mother, Lillie Mae (Singleton) Trichell; sister, Gloria Jean (Trichell) Sims; and brother-in-law, Larry Wayne Sims.

Ronnie is survived by his nephew and his wife, Shea & Brenda Sims of Oak Grove, Louisiana; great nephew, Austin Sims of Cisco, Texas; great nephew, Blake Sims of West Monroe, Louisiana; great niece, Alexis Sims of Oak Grove; 4 great great nephews; 1 great great niece; brother and his wife, Bruce & Cricket Mills of Pearl, Mississippi; and aunt, Hazel (Trichell) Brooks-Bedenbender of Oak Grove.
