Richard Morehead Obituary
Mr. Richard Allen Morehead Sr. was born on November 3, 1935 and passed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 90. He was a member of the Welcome Home Baptist Church, Ouachita Senior Bass Club, and several other organizations including being a Marine. Richard loved to hunt, fish, and teach his boys about trapping. He had a hobby of being in a Rock Club.
He is preceded by his father, George W. Morehead; mother, Mildred A Morehead; brothers, George (G.L.) Morehead, Billy Joe Morehead, Steven A. Morehead, Melvin E. Morehead, and Michael R. Morehead; sisters, Virginia (Ginny) Morehead and Sherri L. Morehead.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Marilyn Deana Knighten Morehead; sons, Eric Alexander Morehead, Matthew Malvin Morehead and wife Christy, Richard Allen Morehead Jr. and wife Debra; daughter, Michelle Haney; sister Cathy M. McGuire and husband Aryon; 23 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
