Hendrix Alexander Kagey, 5, of Keystone Heights, FL, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Gainesville on September 12, 2017, to Desiree Kagey.
Preceded in death by his sisters; Indigo and Freedom Kagey; grandmother, Tammy Hamilton Jones; and grandfather, Merle Hamilton.
He is survived by his parents, Desiree Kagey and James Everson; sister, Primrose Kagey; grandparents, Tiffany (James Riffey) Myers, Jason Kagey, Terry Jones, Paul
(Sherry) Myers, Phyllis Hamilton, and Janet Maxwell; extended family, Brittany Tillquist, Christy Shenk, Alfonso Figueroa, Jake (Jayce) Kagey, Isaiah (Dakota) Kagey, Christian Figueroa, Abigail Kagey, Rhyker Kagey, Gage Tillquist, Gunner Tillquist, Gatlon Tillquist, Collin Shenk, Haley Custer and Leah Shenk.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:00 am at Woods Chapel Independent Bible Church in New Market, VA. Pastor Tim Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to a meal at the church following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hendrixs' Burial Fund, RE: Hendrix Kagey, Valley Funeral Service, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA 22824.
