On September 28th 2024, God called home to his presence Rev. Henry Louis Bradley Jr. Born in 1949 in Osteen, Florida, to Henry L. and Johnny Mae Bradley. Henry lived a life rooted in faith, service, and a deep love for family and community. He attended local schools and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1968. He received his technical degree from Daytona Beach Community College.
After graduating, Henry returned to his beloved high school, where he taught and mentored children, sharing his wisdom and passion for learning with the next generation. His dedication to education and youth development was evident in his work until he later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In 1975, Henry began his ministry as Assistant Pastor at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. His unwavering commitment to the Lord led him to pastor his own congregation at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, where he faithfully ministered for many years. Beyond the pulpit, Henry was known for his passion for fishing, spending peaceful moments by the water, enjoying God's creations, and often sharing his catch with loved ones.
Henry was preceded in death by his 1st wife Betty, beloved grandson; Tyshawn Freeland; his brother, William Bradley; and his sisters, Barbara J Campbell, Janette Brown, Johnny Mae Chavis. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Evelyn Pitts Bradley his cherished children; Treemerria (Mohammed), Lervenda, Vena and Henry III (Joy); Stepchildren; Ambrosia Neal, Robert Neal lll (Rachel). Surviving grandchildren, Marion (Tavarus), Trava, Ameenah, Mia, Meghan, Maya, Jordyn, and MacKenzie; great-grandchildren, Taliah, Kennedy and Nova; his 4 surviving sisters; Joy Frances Leonard, Rose Bradley, Gertrude Kendrick and Juanita Edwards and 2 surviving brothers Reverend Dr. David Bradley (Cynthia) and Ivan Bradley (Tonya), and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and church family.
Reverend Bradley's powerful teachings, memorable preaching, generous spirit, and wise mentoring touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of faith, love, and the simple joys of life-like fishing-will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

To Evelyn and the Bradley family. Matthew 5:4 KJV Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. We were sadden to hear of the passing of my cousin Henry. Rev. Bradley leaves a vast legacy of loving, caring, and encouraging others. He had zest of sharing the gospel with the saved, the lost, and with people he encountered daily. He loved the Lord and interceded for people. He will be greatly missed by our family. I will personally miss and cherish the annual birthday calls and words we shared with each other. Our prayers are with you. We know that God's love will be a shelter to you at this difficult time. May God bless the entire Bradley family.
