Henry Ray Brown went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025.
Ray was born to Henry Ted Brown and Lucy Love McBride on April 8, 1944. Ray loved to buy antique cars and tinker on them in his garage, as well as hunting for antique furniture. He spent over 40 years working for Gas & Oil Companies.
In addition to his loving wife Wilma Brown, Ray is survived by his two sons, Rodney Brown (Renetta) and Christopher Ayers (Heather), his two granddaughters, Kristin Mauldin (Cory) and Makena Ayers, his two great-granddaughters, Addie Mauldin and Emery Mauldin, as well as his brother Jerry Brown (Barbara).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel with Rev. Michael Jernigan officiating. Burial will be held at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
