Henry Floyd Carroll

Mr. Henry Floyd Carroll, age 82, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, September 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 14, 1943, in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late H.H. Carroll and Mary Holmes Carroll. Mr. Carroll retired after 28 years of dedicated service as a truck driver with Gold Kist. He enjoyed planting flowers, mowing grass, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought great joy to his life. He was a faithful member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Bowdon.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Judy Darnell Folds Carroll; children, Henry Lee (Jackie) Carroll of Bremen, Tammy (David) Wright of Whitesburg, Jimmy Mark (Amy) Carroll of Whitesburg, Danny Doyle (Stacie) Folds of Bowdon, and Deborah Folds (Lawrence) Rose of Carrollton; sister, Doris Sears of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with three more on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Preston Carroll and Larry Carroll.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Stewart officiating.

Interment will be in Corinth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowdon.

Pallbearers will be Will Hotalen, J.J. Gentry, Brian Boggs, Ryan Carroll, Jeremy York, Austin Lovvorn, and Bailey Carroll.
