Steven Lynn Carroll, age 63, of Wichita Falls, passed away from this life to his heavenly home on September 23, 2025.

A son of the late Bobbie Gene and Shirley Ann Carroll, Steven was born on June 23, 1962 in Wilson, Oklahoma. He was the only boy in the family with four older sisters. Steven served in the Marine Corp during Desert Storm and after returning home he served 25 years with the Wichita Falls Police Department. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Shirley Carroll and Bobbie Gene Carroll; Sisters Joanie Carroll, Paula Tallon, Pam Timberlake and nephew Brady Butler and niece Michelle Leigh Tallon.

He is survived by the love of his life of 38 years, Becky Morris Carroll, daughter Katelyn Barger, husband Shane; son Jacob Carroll, wife Allie; Grandchildren Brinlee, Carson, Olivia, and Baylor. Also survived by one sister Kim Larson, husband Larry, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to honor his life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday October 4th at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 220 Valley View Road, Loop 11, Wichita Falls, 76306.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wichita Falls Police Officers Association
